A free counselling phone line for Salford students, answered around the clock. If it’s the middle of the night and you need to talk to somebody, this is the number.

Imam Rashid Musa at the Faith Centre is also there for anyone, member or not, about anything at all. So are we, if what you want is a person who knows you rather than a service.

If you’ve experienced Islamophobia on campus, report it at Report It, the University’s own system. File it under hate incidents, which is the category that covers hostility based on religion. You can ask for an advisor to contact you, or report it anonymously. The University adopted a written definition of Islamophobia in November 2024, so there is a standard to report against. You can tell us too. You do not have to handle it on your own.
